Handwritten inventory of Stepney's personal library, in a manuscript notebook, taken at her home at 26 Kensington Palace Gardens in London on 14 Dec 1857. The library contained books on English literature and history, the classics, French literature, several volumes of etchings, as well as portraits painted by Stepney.

The album is covered in fabric of geometric design and tied with a black cord with wooden beads.
